Orange, CA. Not a great night for pictures as most of them came out blurred.
We did have a couple of strange occurrences.
- Gerry got a flat climbing Zips.
- My wallet fell out on the trail on the way down Chutes/Zips.
Apparently it was my lucky night. I get back to the car, happy from another fun ride. Gerrit comes riding up and says, “Winston, did you leave something on the trail?”
My first thought was did I leave some gear somewhere? Sure enough Gerrit hands me my wallet. I look down at the pocket that I carry it in. It’s all zipped up. How the heck did I lose this on the trail? Turns out the bottom of the small pocket on my Fox High Frequency shorts had come completely unstitched.
Thanks again Gerrit! You saved me so much grief.
