Here's waaaay too many photos from Sunday!
NORBA Nationals
It was the beginning of a long race day. Eric and I went early Sunday to watch the NORBA races on Sunday, then he planned to race the Cal State Series which was directly after the Nationals race. Fontana was transformed!

We headed up the hill to watch the DH qualifying and race runs. I was bummed I missed the ladies - they had finished their race by the time we started up the hill. Bad timing, guess I better check the schedule next time! Lots of familiar names there: Melissa Buhl, Lisa Myklak, Joanna Peterson, Claire Buschar, Fionn Griffiths.
The pros pushing up…yes, even the pros have to at Fontana.

Upper sections of the expert/pro course - the course was split this time to reveal some unfamiliar areas.

Cal State Series
After the pro men completed their NORBA run, it was the start of practice for the Cal State race. Riders got a whopping one hour of practice on the upper section of the course before their race run. The lower section was still closed off due to the NORBA stuff still wrapping up at the bottom. Got to hand it to the Southridge folks, they got moving fast and got a shuttle up to the cul-de-sac for the riders.
