    Squamish

Some amazing trails that do not have the notoriaty like the Shore or Whistler. More secluded, more flow versus the tight and technical shore, and plenty of trails for all abilities. I have to say that our guide for the day ripped on what the locals call XC. They were technical.

We rode Upper Powersmart, Recycler?, East Infection, Another Man's Gold, and Powerhouse Plunge.

More views from the top of the mountain.

Steve found this drop off the fireroad climb up after Powersmart. It had a ladder to plank roller which was steep and wet, that put you into this 6-8'er. There was another gap feature or log kicker at the bottom. The trail actually had some big ladderwork built further down, but it was inaccessible due to fallen trees.

I think this trail was called Recycler. It had had plenty of skinnies.

    Scott.

    Steve

Our guide for the day. Jan was the man. Rode clipped in and led us down some steep, wet, root infested muddy trails. I couldn't keep up with him.

It took me several times just to make the tight turn at the top to get on the log. Once on, it was pretty smooth.

    Jan, myself, and Steve.

    Dft mechanical 2:

    (bent chainguide arm)

We were able to bend it back and continue without any problems for the rest of the ride.

    Scenic view.

Scott on a nice skinny that dumped you out into two nice wooden kickers, then back on to more skinnies.

    Steve after the wooden kickers.

Last skinny at the end of the trail.

On to East Infection with a nice inscription on this rock before you dropped in.

Here is Steve heading down towards the wall ride.

Beautiful! It sure was fun to rail this!

Scott head on leading into the first jump.

    Dft on his first run.

Didn't catch the homeplate slide though.

I blow through the left turn on the video take.

Cool shot of Scott coming out of a turn leading into the stepdown.

Some good video footage of Steve and Scott cleaning the lower sections.

    Another Man's Gold

    A final shot.

    Re: Squamish

better than the shore!  squamish was a great place with so many many trails, i really liked this spot. the jumps after that wall ride were very nice, some good sized stepdowns, ~20 horizontal  with ~6 -8 foot vertical drop thrown in with nice berms leading into them. we just stumbled on this trail, our guide never did it. large verticle out there, we did like 3000, but 5000 foot drops exist.

a big fan of steep/slidy: still believes its possible to be in control while back tire is locked up.

Whatever, Buckley has lost all credibility with me!!! (Frame is probably strapped to the back of a burro...dead from exposure somewhere in the Cascade Mountain Range.)

    Re: Squamish

Thank you for the compliments Maxwell. The Squamish trails were amazing, I liked them better thean the Shore. We even saw a 360 corkscrew wooden squirrel cage for some freeride fun!
