    Intense 951 complete

    Pretty slick offer from Intense.

But does it ride as well as a M6?  Hmm

951 is way too XC! lol

I've heard there's a couple of M6s running around in the 37.75 to 38.0 lb range...

Skullcrack...what are the true measurements on the Uzzi w/ the Lyrik and flush set?

    HA, BB, CS, SA?

    Thanks

Hey Auk, here's what I came up with this morning. I used the Clinometer app on my iPod for the HA. I did my best to get it calibrated, but I had a hard time finding a flat area in my garage. I'd say it's accurate to within .5°. FWIW, Intense says the HA is 67° and the BB is 14" with a Fox 36 and flush headset.

All the measurements were with the rear dropouts in the middle position, so +/- .5° on the HA and +/- .25" on the BB and CS.

    HA: 66.5°

    BB: 13.75"

    CS (middle setting) 17.25"

I forgot to check SA. It's got a bend in the middle so I'm not sure how to measure it to get the eff. SA.

    Skullcrack

Thanks for the info...I think the lowest setting would make it lower and slacker, is that right?

Looks like you're running a front derailleur, any chainguide, or just the front derailleur?

    Thanks again

Right, the lowest setting would slacken the HA by 1/2°, lower the BB by 1/4" and lengthen the CS by 1/4"

Ft. derailleur indeed. I haven't figured out how to fit a dual ring chainguide yet. My Blackspire Stinger hits the lower link, which hangs down much lower on the Uzzi than it does on the SS or M6. The guide ends up around the 7 o'clock position, where it's too low to do any good and hangs down below the bottom of the bashguard, right in the line of fire.

I will try a DRS next, but I'm not hopeful. I needed a chainguide a couple times on Sunday's ride.

I've heard that FSA makes a compact mtb crankset w/ a 27-tooth front chainring.  That might be an option.
