I went out to Fontucky on Sunday to watch the pro and semi-pro DH action. It was great getting to see Rennie, Kovarik, and the other pros compete.

The first thing I noticed is that the pits looked much different from the Winter Series events.


So did the finish line.

Later in the afternoon I went up to the first rock section to watch the pro men and women finals.

Roger and I were there representing! Only saw 2 other Path DH riders, Luke and James. After practicing the Pro course on Thursday, I opted to race the Expert Women 40-49 class (on the Sport Course). Between the wind and the sand, I opted for a stress/injury free race weekend. LOL....

I ended up winning my class and got a set of gold ODI grips and an awesome winner's jersey (which was a surprise as last year we only got grips). Hoping to post some photos once I have permission to do so. :-)
