Welome back Winston. It was good to ride with you and the guys today at the Oaks/XC trails. That Mountain Goat trail BLOWS! (caution-rock hopping) Good times/good grub.

    BTW those pics are huge!

Re: He is back... Winston's return.

Thanks fellas.  It was great to get back out there.  Mother Nature gave us some comfortable riding weather last night.

I’m sure it will be a month before my climbing legs return.  A big thanks to Chirs and Shitty for dropping back at times.

I’ve lost my confidence on the descents, but hopefully that will return shortly with practice.  Riding the waterfall section (right turn) of Goat aka Goat Fucked was humbling.  (Man the reroute onto Billy Goat is lame.)  Fortunately, I think Gerry was the only one to score a clean on the waterfall right hander.

It sure is depressing seeing all the work that has gone into closing trails vs. maintaining them.  (Though we haven’t had the weather for trail maintenance.)

The good news is that my shoulder feels fine this morning.  I did heed Shitty’s advice and iced it last night.

Thanks Chirs for bringing your camera.  Hopefully I will get back to shooting pictures soon.  (I just can’t get in front of anyone at the moment…LOL!)

    Got Sand?

Hey Winston, it's really good to see you out riding again. I'm sure the confidence will return in no time.

It is sad what they've done to Goat. I really hope Bobcat doesn't meet the same fate.

Hey come on now, I made the right hander on the waterfall section! A little credit please. The new name for Billy Goat is SILLY GOAT. Lame

Damn SC, that shot alone is worth a thousand words.  Pretty easy to see that you guys are getting the short end of the stick.  Tame bike paths and wheelchair access to all!

Has there been any access gained to any new techno/steep trails?

(Winston, you otta be well enough by October to do another run up to BC/CN - keep at it man, baby steps!)
