Laguna Beach, CA. Today’s Path ride took us to Laguna Wilderness for an entertaining ride down Laguna Ride aka T&A.

Tani got things rolling by doing the upper drop and washing out in the soft tranny. (A sign of things to come and sorry I didn’t have my camera at the ready.)
Mike aka Cow opted to skip the drop and take the “easier” original line.
He didn’t get far:
Talk about your full service LBS! Not only does Tani sell sweet bikes and service them, he pulls cactus spines at no extra charge. Beat that!
Also pictured on the right is Shelly who was out visiting from San Diego. Strong climber and did just fine on the descents.

We made it to the lower play area on T&A with no further incidents.
Tani does the drop to nowhere:
This was Coleman’s first time down T&A and after conferring if Joel usually hits this drop, he did it with no problem.
I wish I could come off drops as nicely as Coleman:
This was also Mike’s first time. Only took him two minutes to work up the courage:
Nicely done. He beat me by two years.
We had just left the play area when Tani screwed up on the next rock formation and landed hard on his wrist/forearm.
