North Shore Upper Oilcan and Air-Supply

So after riding 7th Secret, we all climbed up to upper Oilcan for some double black fun. Here is Steve dropping in on the stump at the beginning of the trail.

Dft on some loam and roots.

    Beautiful isn't it?

Dft on a long skinny section. This thing wrapped you around a hairpin left and elevated you at least 10' up on a side of a hill which Steve was the only one to attempt, and successfully clean. A nice mellow right hand turn putting you on the line Dft is riding here.

Shot doesn't show it, but here is Steve on the high skinny section.

Scott likes skinnies but his mind is really thinking about how fast he can get down to the the Air Supply jumps.

A whole different element to riding. Wet and slippery, roots, chunk all over the trail that tires your body, tight sections where you have to pedal to enter a stunt that isn't lined up with your front wheel the majority of the time. I could go on. Anyways, here is Dt on this rock slab.

    Steve

The tranny was wet. It looks good, but I was sketchy after two attempts trying to make the turn at the bottom.

Another rock to skinny at the end of the trail.

Look where Steve's front tire is lined up!

    Dft following.

Air Supply (Ivan actually had one of their tunes on his I-Pod! Classic!)

Scott hitting the first Air Supply jump.

    Another angle.

    Way up in the trees.

Scott and Dft hitting the jumps.

Great pics Granny! The videos are sweet also. Scott was really flowing and no wonder DT needs a new rear wheel. Nice recovery from that case.

Thanks Terry. It was a pretty incredible still, being my fourth trip. Steve and Scott really ripped up there, it was fun to see them ride some big lines.
