    Does Stans Sealant work?

Anyone using Stans Sealant with tubes and non UST tires?

I am changing more tires than I am diapers these days.  I need a solution.  Help me....

its transformed my riding. i used to be king of flats!

i did it the right way, ust rims, tires, and stans. just about everyone that switches loves it (there are a few that don't though).  it sure seems to be the future of MB. almost every XC racer uses them (allows them to use light xc tires and still not get flats). like winston, i only use DH ust tires though for freeride. (maxxis, michelin, huctinson)

a big fan of steep/slidy: still believes its possible to be in control while back tire is locked up.

The type of riding will sort of dictate the Stan's setup:

Super steep, high speed, free-ride type riding - use a UST rim / stans and UST tires

Aggressive trail / medium steep trails - I've had good luck with Stans Rims (Arch) or Specialized Roval Traversee wheels w/ Stans and non-UST tires:  that is non-UST tires w/ decent sidewalls (e.g. Schwalbe fat alberts or Specialized Chunder 2.2).  I've burped these setups on sideways landings or awkward entry's / exits from steep features.

Trail riding - you can probably get away with a similar setup as the aggresive trail setup and even lighter tires...but you sort of need to think, "smooth" while you ride.

Remove Kenda's and replace with 2.35 LUST High Rollers.  That will help your diaper to tire ratio.
    Turn down the suck!
